ESAD Blog Hop

 

Welcome to my blog today!  I am participating in my first blog hop with ESAD and I’m very excited!  We’re showcasing the NEW products in the Annual Catalogue from Stampin‘ Up!  I’m a huge fan of coffee and chocolate, so the “Nothing’s Better Than” stamp set was always going to be top of my wish list from the Annual Catalogue!!  

(Turns out I’m a cocktail fan too 😉)

I chose a colour combination from the Stampin’ Up’s ‘colour coach’ (an excellent demonstrator tool), because it reminded me of the layered soft drinks that I had on special occasions as a child! 

 

I realised that I also wanted to stamp the cocktail image and colour it with the stamps (two-step stamping) – especially as the Bumblebee ink made a fantastic lemon wedge! So, my leftover die cut (because I couldn’t decide which colours I wanted on the card) and the coloured cocktail image became the tag.

Next up in the amazing ESAD hop is Sharni Haines.

This is probably my favourite suite in the Annual Catalogue!!  I do love to use punches and growing up in Kaikoura, the sea was never far way!

Today is the day! The 2020 Annual Catalogue from Stampin' up is here and live!!!  Above are the 5 new 'in colours' - aren't they beautiful??  I can't decide which is a my favourite, maybe it's Misty Moonlight at the moment :)

Lockdown Crafting

Hello!  Here in New Zealand we're in our second week of (post-lockdown) Level 2.  While we were in Level 3 I really was struggling for inspiration to craft, thankfully I had the Stampin' Up! Covid-19 giveback pdf  to kickstart things.  I printed some sentiments on Whisper White card and some on printer paper and both worked well to create with!

I enjoyed making a paper mask - the Story Label punch made it so easy !

When isn't it time for a 'quarantini'?? I coloured the olives with my Old Olive watercolour pencil for a dab of colour.   And yes I did do some 'fussy cutting'!!

Flatten the curve!  We've done a great job of flattening it here in New Zealand (must have been drinking all those quarantinis!!!)

Three Cheers!

I put together the ‘Three Cheers’ kit as a gift.  I have trouble sticking to the plans/instructions though, so two-thirds of the kit are my modified (or extra-blinged) versions.  I love that the kits from Stampin' Up are versatile like that!!
